I really appreciate its design, this matte black aspect, quite contemporary. Very sober, it still allows you to take your water bottle everywhere, including at work or on the move. I admit that my Alter Ego bottle follows me everywhere now. So I drank tap water of course, but also water from Lac du Bourget (Savoie), water from a river, I even knelt down to drink water from a puddle. Simply remove the filter to suck and drink the water directly.
To drink, there is a habit to be acquired. Indeed, it is important to realize that the water stored in the bottle is not necessarily drinkable, and that it only becomes drinkable when you aspire. We must therefore trust this filter and change our habits. You also have to suck hard enough at first to get the water through the straw filter, then it becomes easier.
The little extra is that it is insulated. The water that you are going to take from a river, for example, is generally quite cool. This insulated bottle keeps freshness for a long time, long enough to drink all of its contents.
