Why is Qube a sustainable bathroom trash can?

The design of this stainless steel trash can was entrusted to the design agency C+B Lefebvre. The design phase began with multiple meetings with hotels and companies that use this type of bin. They all agree that the mechanism of pedal bins is too fragile. Operated with the foot to open them, it is easy to understand that users are not necessarily delicate. We have seen a "pile" of bins behind a hotel ready to be taken to the recycling center. The manager of a hotel also told us that he always ordered more bins than the number of rooms to be equipped to anticipate breakages.

The objective is therefore to offer a resistant bin. It is out of the question to remove the cover for a sanitary bin or a bathroom bin.

The solution is very simple. No mechanism is present in Qube. An interior cube rotates inside an exterior cube to open. No risk of breakage, a relief for hoteliers!

Operation is simple and intuitive. A handle and a pedal on the front face allow opening, depending on whether the bin is on the floor or whether it is used as a wall trash can.

Qube can be attached to the wall. A fixing system is provided in order to free the floors. This request expressed by hoteliers who must clean the floors every day is valid for everyone. Nothing could be more annoying to move objects when vacuuming or mopping!
