Today, I would like to talk to you about a young man of 26 called Renaud Dancie. He lives and works in Bordeaux and created the company Wood'Insane Design.
He designs and produces all the furnishing objects he signs entirely by hand.
- These objects are:
- Storage cubes
- Stools
- Lighting
- Or accessories for bicycles.
With him, everything seems possible. As the term slow suggests, one of the characteristics of slow design is taking the time. Renaud therefore does not work in the assembly line, but favors above all work to order, often tailor-made, which allows his customers to have a completely personal and unique piece of furniture.
In a minimalist aesthetic, he designs and produces small series in slow / eco-design. Adept at recycling, he collects fallen wood and dead branches. This is where these small logs with their characteristic blue veins come from.
