After Design, the erotic market becomes Eco

A Canadian friend recently sent me an article that particularly surprised me.
The erotica market takes an ecological turn
For a number of years, manufacturers of erotic products have embarked on more and more sophisticated designs of their sex toys, to the delight of couples.
But today, these companies are embarking on ecology; Organic aphrodisiac capsules, phthalate-free vibrators, natural lubricants, ethical condoms: the ecological eroticism segment is seeking to seduce the French market.
The question I ask myself today, is it a great marketing move, or a responsible pleasure?
Frédéric Donnât, two years ago launched the first brand of fully organic erotic cosmetics, the company divinextases.
In 2010 this company had a turnover of € 150 in traditional erotic cosmetics, since it launched into organic and ecological erotic cosmetics, its annual turnover has tripled ( 000 €). You should know that the whole of this range is produced in France (Cocorico). From spanking balm to intimate perfumes, all products are made in France with the same imperatives of sustainable commitments: no palm oil, but shea or beeswax, and packaging made from recyclable materials.
“Taking care of love” is also the obsession of the Laboratoires Claude brand, which since 2010 has been distributing in pharmacies, organic stores and sex shops a small collection of 100% organic capsules with very suggestive names to use “in” cure or on an ad hoc basis, 30 to 60 minutes before the act ”for more sexual fulfillment.
Elsewhere too, the green business alternative seeks to appeal to other lovers, and nature lovers.
This is the case of the British company French Letter, which sells ethical condoms with a neutral carbon footprint, made in Germany with a natural latex from sustainably managed Indian forests.
The forest, a theme also dear to the arbredesplaisirs.com site which declares to plant a tree in Peru in order to reforest the Amazon for any purchase of a device and invites customers to recycle their accessories.
Some companies are considering manufacturing a new, more efficient, solar-powered sex toy.
My opinion :
That this sector of activity is one of the richest in the world, that does not prevent them from paying attention to the nature that surrounds us, so I will give them the right point of the day.
