The Butadrum, a recycled instrument, intoxicating and without downside
Last Wednesday, professional trip to Marseille, I took the opportunity to visit the LIFT exhibition.
It was while visiting the “Lift Experience” exhibition designed by the Design the Future Now association that I discovered an instrument designed from recycled materials and totally intoxicating: the Butadrum.
Drum and gas
It had to be thought about: using gas cylinders to design melodic percussions with a crystalline sound whose harmonic richness is similar to that of the Hang, invented in Switzerland by Panart in 2000.

On the web, we see that the musician and creator of unusual instruments Marc Boegner has been using this type of "Tank Drums" in his workshops (in the Ardennes) since 2010.
The 1901 law association No downside, located in Marseille, wishes to make its marketing part of a global awareness-raising approach to ecology while offering music therapy workshops, as explained in the following video:
