As you know, part of my professional activity consists of designing and distributing designer and environmentally friendly products. Water related products occupy a large part of my catalog.
I am a fan of the fact that design helps to change mentalities, helps to change our behavior. Many designers are working on concepts of ecological and design bottles, which encourage us to limit our consumption of single-use plastic bottles.
Among these bottles, the Dopper designer bottle is a market leader.
Dopper reduces mountain of plastic waste
A significant amount of plastic bottles end up on the roads but also in our oceans. According to an article published by Le Monde on December 10, 2014, “269 tonnes of plastic waste floats in the oceans”.
In addition, to make 1 plastic bottle, you need 1 liter of water and 1 quarter of a liter of petroleum.
Dopper offers an alternative to the disposable bottle. This bottle is produced with a neutral carbon balance and does not contain Bisphenol-A or BPA. Its stopper is in 2 parts, it includes a stemmed glass which allows you to put tap water on a pedestal.
Dopper encourages drinking water consumption
Tap water is the preferred water. It quenches your thirst perfectly by providing no calories. It costs next to nothing, up to 1 times less than bottled water. And it must meet much stricter criteria than mineral water.
You can, however, choose to filter this tap water with a water filter for example.
To promote the consumption of drinking water, the Dopper Foundation donates part of the profits generated by the sale of Dopper bottles to organizations in charge of promoting drinking water.

Thanks to the sale of Dopper bottles, the Dopper foundation helps finance water-related projects in Nepal. Purification system, clean toilets, water filtration systems are in place in this developing country.
