At 20, this boy is surprising. At a time when many people are realizing that our seas and oceans are polluted by ever more plastic bottles, Boyan Slat is developing a concept to deal with the problem.
Based on the observation that a plastic bottle decomposes between 50 and 1000 years, and that many people still throw their waste into nature, a solution had to be found. AND an effective solution because you have to act quickly!
