An absolutely designer bathtub

Hello everybody

Today, I would like to tell you about a brand that I discovered during my last trip to England.

SplinterWork was formed in 2009 through a collaboration between Miles Hartwell and Matt Withington . Their mission is to create sculptural furniture that is engaging and inspiring.

The design studio Splinter Works has created Vessel, a bathtub made of carbon fiber , which hangs like a hammock.

Struck by the synergy between the shapes of the two compelling symbols of relaxation, a hammock and a bathtub, the designers of SPLINDERWORK, were inspired to develop a piece that would offer the ultimate vehicle for total escape.

By literally elevating the bathing experience in a suspended sculpture, the bathroom has been reinvented as a sanctuary for artistic contemplative relaxation.
